Namaste Derek Ji, welcome to the Akhanda community! :)
I’d like to share something that Guru Ji has often mentioned in his Satsangs and teachings, or at least how I’ve understood it:
Our bodies are holistic entities that interconnect with many aspects of the Self, including the five koshas, the movement of prana, the nadis, chakras, and vayus. You’ll notice that all Akhanda practices follow the traditional path of Yoga, helping align body, mind, and spirit. They teach us to first become aware of, and then direct, our vital energy in the most beneficial way for awakening and wellbeing. Vishva Ji always emphasizes building a balanced Muladhara chakra first, and then moving on to the others. You may have already worked on this, but you can also use the search bar to find specific chakra classes there are some amazing Kundalini classes that were live from the Ashram in India, as well as part of the Kundalini YTT, and Bija mantra. I hope this helps, and I wish you a wonderful Yogic journey!
